Internal Regulations
These house rules (hereinafter the “Rules”) are addressed to visitors to the City2 shopping center (hereinafter the “shopping center”) and apply to the entire shopping center, including the car park. The regulations apply during opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday: from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. closed on Sundays and public holidays (with some exceptions). The shopping center is managed by AG Real Estate Property Management S.A. with its registered office at 1000 Brussels, Avenue Des Arts 58 (hereinafter the “Manager”).
- Anyone entering the shopping center must know, accept and comply with (the provisions of) these Regulations. Visitors who do not comply with the rules and/or who are guilty of nuisance, vandalism or violence will be asked to leave the shopping center immediately.
- The manager cannot be held responsible in the event of theft or accident.
- It is forbidden to distribute flyers, conduct surveys or engage in itinerant trade without the prior authorization of the manager. This applies both inside the shopping center and at the entrances and exits. Begging is always prohibited
- The building is equipped with surveillance cameras in the parts accessible to the public and in the private parts. Camera surveillance – Law of 21 March 2007.
- There is a general ban on smoking and vaping in the mall.
- Animals are not allowed, apart from service animals for those in need, unless worn.
- It is forbidden to enter the mall with bicycles, scooters, skateboards or other means of transportation, unless worn.
- For safety reasons, it is forbidden to leave objects unattended. Lost items will be kept for 30 days and can be picked up from the info desk on presentation of an identity document.
- To guarantee the tranquility and enjoyment of the shopping center, it is forbidden to play ball games and other ball games.
- It is forbidden to dirty or damage the shopping center, its equipment or its vegetation.
The bins provided in the shopping center must be used by customers to deposit their waste. It is forbidden to deposit your waste outside the bins provided for this purpose.
The garbage rooms are for internal use only. These can only be used by store staff to deposit waste generated by stores.
The deposit of household waste will be considered an illegal landfill. In case of a violation, the shopping center reserves the right to make a report to the official authorities. - In order not to hinder the proper functioning of the security installations, it is forbidden to enter the shopping center with helium balloons
- Rest areas and a Foodcourt (EATS!) are planned at various points in the shopping center. These can be used in a calm and serene way. Only products purchased in the shopping center can be consumed on site. Picnics are not allowed.
- The consumption of alcoholic beverages outside the designated terraces of food establishments is not permitted.
- A gathering of several people causing a nuisance and/or blocking crossings is always prohibited.
- The access to the shopping center will be refused to persons who:
- are clearly under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other narcotic substance;
- cause a nuisance, disturb the order or incite violence;
- resist the control of security guards;
- are in possession of a prohibited weapon or dangerous object;
- violate the provisions of these internal regulations and/or refuse to follow the instructions.
The conditions for prohibiting access are determined by the manager and can range from a minimum of one month to permanent exclusion from the shopping center.
- It is forbidden to block emergency doors and/or fire doors. As well as blocking service and emergency exits.
- The use of amplified music and/or musical instruments is not permitted unless approved by the manager.
- Children under the age of 14 must, for safety reasons, be accompanied by an adult or responsible person, unless they have written permission from the person in charge. Group supervisors must be clearly identifiable. Supervisors must constantly monitor the immediate environment of their group/child.
- The use of children’s rides is allowed up to the age and/or weight indicated by the rental company of these toys. Children must be always accompanied by an adult who will ensure that children do not cause any (noise) nuisance to the surrounding shops/visitors
- It is forbidden to take photographs and/or videos without the prior permission of the management
- The presence of security does not exempt the visitor from his or her own responsibility, including towards third parties
- In the event of a violation of these rules, you will be called upon by security and/or the manager who will take measures to limit the nuisance. If necessary, the police will be notified, and the shopping center reserves the right to file a complaint with the official authorities.
